How do i change rear wheel bearing?
remove cover and drain oil with vehicle on jack stands and the suspect wheel removed.use a 6 sided socket to remove the bolt holding the bevel gear shaft in.(this is directly to the side of your large ring gear, its the shiny shaft inside that cage looking contraption.)with drift/dowel bolt removed, start the shaft out enough to get the drift bolt into the hole in the end of the shaft.rotate to the back side, insert drift and work out shaft.bevel gears can now be removed.shove the axle in.this should make a cclip fall out of the end of the axle.it can now be removed.remove seal(probably had to remove brake caliper etc)then using a puller and adapter, just remove the bearing.(i usuall just skillfully cut the bearing with a torch hear, saves me tons of frustration)coat the new bearing with new recomended oil and install in reverse order.the c-clip may be a bit tricky.make sure to tap the dowel/drift bolt when reinstalling,or it may work itself back out.some use locktite here,i dont.

remove brake cap. assembly, remove tie rod, remove lower control arm bolt, and pull lower control arm out or rear spindle/hub assembly, push out rear axle with air gun/chisel. Remove remaining bolts that hold hub/spindle assembly, then press out hub from bearing, then press out bearing from spindle assembly, install, reverse procedure
