Remove the hub assembly from control arms and steering ends if applicable....find a machine shop or auto repair shop that will press out old bearing and press new one in....they shouldn't charge no more than 10 to $20 each. They can bang that out in no time....it's fast and cost efficient if they do it..

And how did you dedcue this problem? Most front wheel drives have sealed bearings that are pressure fit in to the %26quot;hub%26quot; or a big hunk of cast iron sometimes referred to as a %26quot;knuckle%26quot;. These are so rarely replaced that the procedure is a big pain to accomplish.

You have to remove these knuckles from the car and that means disconnecting the tie rod ends and brakes and ball joints and pulling the half shaft drive axles out or off and then you take this big hunk of iron to your local repair shop and teell them to please remove the old bearings and install some new ones. This is done with w hydraulic ram. Then you take it back home and reinstall everything and try to get the wheel alignment close to driveable and then take it back to the shop and have them realign the whole front end.

You can pay them to do the job and save the whole running around process. Expect to pay maybe $100 for parts and $400 for labor.

I suspect that you might need new drive axles or half shafts with new constant velocity joints rather than new wheel bearings on a 1999 model car.

Good Luck!
