When changing a Wheel hub assembly....?

do you have to %26quot;pack it with grease%26quot;?? or is the grease already inside the new hub assembly part? I am having the part changed because the wheel bearing is bad and I know they say when changing the wheel bearing you have to pack it with grease. so do you have to use grease if the bearing is inside the hub assembly since its all one unit??
When changing a Wheel hub assembly....?
depends on the hub, if it is a front wheel drive hub with a twin roller bearing then they are usually pre greased for life if its a non driveshaft hub then the taper bearings need grease if its a solid axle the bearings are lubricated by the ep axle oil
When changing a Wheel hub assembly....?
NO all wheel hubs are sealed. so they already have grease in them you only pack wheel bearings and since the wheel bearing is inside the hub and its sealed you cant pack it
