I had a wheel bearing changed yet the noise continues, what could it be?

I drive a 98 R reg renault clio, i recently had my master cylinder changed and the mechanic told me i also needed the front right bearing changing so i had that changed. But when I%26#039;m driving every so often the car makes a whirring noise as if somethings grinding, i would have thought the bearing change would have sorted it but it did for about a couple of days only but now the noise has began again. it%26#039;ll be silent for a couple of seconds then the noise will happen for a couple of seconds, on off kinda. i believe the noise is coming from the front right wheel, but i could be wrong... what could be the cause and how serious is it?|||there are a couple of things that come to mind about what could be causing the noise. one is the brakes are dragging on the right front, two is the bearing was not installed correctly or three the noise was actually caused by a worn out C-V joint on the right front half shaft (Axel). i am not familiar with the Renault Clio and i am assuming it%26#039;s a front wheel drive vehicle. does the noise get louder when you are turning???

it will need to checked over by a/the mechanic to make sure|||Cheap brake pads.
